Press Brake Operator

Working within our Press Department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality components to specification. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
• Measure and inspect completed components to ensure quality standards are met
• Select appropriate tooling and perform machine changeovers
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain efficient workflow
• Work collaboratively with fabrication, laser, and production teams
• Follow health and safety procedures and quality control processes
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area

What We're After

• Previous experience operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of Sheetmetal fabrication processes
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
